Port of Los Angeles High School is a successful and high-performing charter school. POLAHS success comes from the academic rigor placed on Honors and AP programs, college prep coursework, and particularly our six career pathways. Within these six pathways, our students engage in a variety of real world learning activities with businesses in our community.

This suggestion form is for employers or individuals recommending employers to be mentors for high school students. We are interested in a range of experiences, including, but not limited to office/facilities tours, in school presentations, shadow days, all the way to school-year internships. The information you submit will be evaluated by our Real-World Learning Coordinators who will then reach out to you for confirmation and to answer any questions you might have!
