We are looking for exceptional and diverse leaders, education practitioners, policy advocates, and researchers committed to expanding equitable health and educational practices designed to improve public education opportunities for underserved communities in times of crisis and in times of normalcy. The sixth Equity Fellows cohort will be made up of passionate individuals who will undertake a program of advanced leadership seminars and projects under the direction of experienced mentors. These are people who can amplify voices and perspectives underrepresented in an evolving education movement.

The program requires significant preparatory reading, 16 days onsite for three seminars over 18 months (January 2023-June 2024), and a capstone project. Participation will be without cost to participants or their organizations, exclusive of incidental expenses incurred, and the cost of participant’s time, which will be borne by the organizations in which they are employed. Please note, folks who belong to the Big Picture Learning network or Internationals Network for Public Schools are not eligible to participate in the fellowship.
